Deadly Raid. British Commandos, Dieppe, 1942, 1/35 - Master Box Ltd. 35252

The story of this kit refers to the early phase of World War II, when a combined group of British and Canadian soldiers was formed, consisting of 1,000 British Commandos, supplemented by 50 American Rangers and 15 French volunteers. Overall, the raid can be considered an obvious failure. However, the results of this operation are assessed differently in various sources.

The greatest success in this operation was achieved by the Commandos of the 4th Troop under the leadership of the legendary Simon Fraser, better known as Lord Lovat. His unit was the only one that fully completed its mission.

The kit depicts four Commandos of this troop during the capture of the Hess battery.
The kit includes one sprue with figures of four soldiers.

The figures are designed at a high artistic level and represent finely crafted miniature sculptures.
