Dungeons & Lasers Miniatures: Animal Companions is a multi-part plastic model kit of miniatures to be assembled, made by Archon Studio, reference DNL0011. Designed for a 28 mm scale, this set brings together 24 animal and creature miniatures for fantasy worlds, tabletop role-playing games, and diorama scenes.

The selection lets you add a variety of animal companions to a band of adventurers, a medieval-fantasy skit, or a gaming table. The box also includes mimic creatures, as well as a goblin and a dragon, to enrich encounters and staged scenes.

The miniatures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. They come with 25 mm scenic bases and an assembly guide. Construction requires the usual steps of plastic model making: careful part separation, removing mold lines, applying the right glue, then painting.

A miniatures primer helps paint adhere properly and makes details easier to read. Furs, feathers, scales, and base textures offer plenty of options for painting, washes, highlights, and weathering.
