Watercolor Pencil Dark Rust AK Interactive AK10013 is an water-based weathering pencil designed for static model making. Its Dark Rust shade, or dark rust, allows you to create oxidation effects on vehicles, aircraft, ships, buildings, figures, and scenery details.

This watercolourable pencil can be used dry to produce chips, scratches, localized marks, and enhanced detail highlights. Used with water, it helps you create streaks, rust runs, surface tones, and color transitions. Its pencil format makes it easier to apply the medium precisely to raised details, corners, structural lines, and hard-to-reach areas.

For controlled patina effects, application on a matte surface is particularly suitable. The color can then be worked with a slightly damp brush to soften edges, blend traces, or adjust the intensity of the effect.
